I spent my last 2 nights in 2011 by watching KBS gayo daejun and NHK kouhaku. For my entire life, i never 'celebrate' new year. Oh, in Bali i usually have some bbq party with my family (if grilled 1 chicken and few fish can be called bbq, yes i have bbq party). But, my family members also the type that don't celebrate new year. So after we finish grilled the chicken/fish, we eat together, talking, hang out a moment and at 11, we tired already, fall a sleep in my grandmother's couch. So, yeah, i never have particular celebration for new year. If I'm not gather with my big famaily in my grandparents' house then i will be in front of my tv, holding remote, and listening my mother asking who is the bad one, who is the good one, why they are fighting, etc in movie that we watch together. Nothing special. Then, i'm moving to Bandung for study. Within 4 years i live in Bandung, only 1 new year that i celebrate in my friend's house. Doing some bbq party (again, if grilled chicken can be called bbq). And the rest year? I'm at home with my friends watching KBS gayo daejun and NHK kouhaku.
Nothing special actually in KBS gayo daejun this year. I expected something like collaboration between jonghyun, changmin (2AM), yoseob and oh, i'm forget who's the rest, singing we will rock you last year. But, i've got nothing this year. I didn't complain a lot about that, just little dissapointed. Ah, i don't like the remix of Fiction. I love Fiction just the way it is. It's great and beautiful song. But, then they make a remix of this song. I just, errrhhhhh.... I prefer orchestra version in MAMA for Fiction. Here's Fiction performance. 2PM is always makes me wait to watch. But, maybe because i'm not hip hop listener and i love the original version of Hands Up so i'm not quite amuse with their hip hop version. Here's the performance But, fortunately they change it to the original version in nickhun part. It makes me excited again. Okay, that's for gayo daejun and move to kouhaku. Actually i'm not j-pop listener. And i barely know j-pop group/singer. But, i still having fun watching arashi, perfume and smap perform. Kara's performance is great and i think they are very suitable in Japan market. Then SNSD perform. All i can see is these girls are very nervous, especially Yuri. I just catch that from their awkward smile, their eyes, their movement, they seem like very careful. Maybe because it's their first time. Yoona and Sooyoung more relax than the rest of them. But, they still gorgeous with their costume. Ah, i want to give suggestion. Since Sooyoung is fluent in Japan why don't put she in front, near the MC. Not like in Kouhaku, where she's standing behind, far from MC, but she's the one that answer MC's question. Just my opinion. Btw, this whole paragraph is my opinion :). And DSBK, the group that makes me watch NHK Kouhaku, is just great. Yeah, they always great. Despite their busy schedule in the end of the year, they always give their best. Oh, bias is bias. :D.

But, this year i have a different feeling than the other years. Last year i have an exact plan what will i do in 2011 (i have to finish my final project, i have to graduated in October, and DBSK is back!), so i feel very excited. But, in 2012, everything is still gray. I don't know what will i get in this year and i don't know where will I be in next months. Everything is just gray.
Apart from that I'm still happy that 2011 is past and now 2012. I hope everything that we wish come true in 2012. Happy new year!!!!!!
